So, I just finished Manifold: Space. Holy shnikes these books are nuts! Sometimes, I actually seem to forget that they are written by a mere human. Albeit, a phenomonally imaginative human, but human nonetheless. They are on such an incredible scale. I would recommend them to anyone. But, Stephen Baxter's work isn't for everyone. Such hard, brutal, mathmatic science fiction would turn off alot of casual readers. If you're going to read Baxter, you had better be prepared to think. Hard.
