Speaking of, I keep hearing these things about Oakland from my friends-- stuff about it being pretty rough, especially after dark. I mean, I can see why no one would mess with you or Cheese (Cheese especially, being all military and whatnot), but let's remember that I'm a skinny little white boy about to head into the neighborhood.

What's it gonna be like? Also: Did you get that new place, or are we rooming in the one I saw already?

Also, my dad wants me to look at a Taurus that his friend is selling. If I can get a decent job and pay insurance on it, I might have wheels when I come down there. I still need to find a decent job; I'm expecting to have to draw in eight or nine dollars an hour to survive. Any suggestions on where I can apply? Get in touch, man.
