First break=Snipping some text]off, I just want to say that my intention wasn't to ridicule Dial-A-Truth. In fact, quite the opposite. For instance, the third link I posted wasn't so I could point and laugh at those kids. Actually, I think it's a very good thing. I think that if you are struggling in your life, and you truly believe that there is something bringing you down and pulling you away from God, then you most definitely should eliminate it. If Christian rock and metal are really hurting these kids' walk, then I congratulate them for taking it out of their life. I would feel the same if it was videogames. If you think that gaming is truly hindering your walk, then get rid of it. You have my full support.
BUT.
You may not know this about me, but I love hardcore. I love metal. I love loud, hard, furious music. And I will never stop listening to it. To me, it's passion, anger, pain, emotion, anguish, and truth. And, on a purely superficial level, I love the screams of hardcore. But, I digress.
My point is this. It's not that Dial-A-Truth is an absolute travesty. I just think it is something that should be dealt with on a person to person basis.
Anyway, as promised, those are my thoughts.

Also...a lot of what that person wrote up about the symbols in POD's albums is bunko. For instance the triple six triaguma symbol originated with gnostic jews as a symbol for the three parted God that they were waiting for to conquer the fallen angel Ameyael (The Devil to them) and was adopted in th fifth century as a way to take something dark and have Christ own it. Those Christians (many "celtic") liked to take things away from their pagan beiefs and give them to Christ. As a matter of fact they called it the "Ichthyeas" or "Fish Net" meaning it was severa fish entwined together as a refference to the "Fishers of men" of the Gospels.
Besides there there are other busting in accuracies. The number 13 has been used since the first century by Christians to mean "We (gentile) people are the 13th tribe" often symbolized with skulls because we were a people of decimated bones before Christ. (Later the skulls were replaced with the Omega to symbolize us as the "last" tribe of Judah)
Lots of fright going on there. Pray for them and the people they write about. Amy Grant is a fair bit messed up.

You had best be posting your thoughts.
And that's a good book.
