Lots Caste
We shot the latest Not One Zombie film a weekend or so ago. I think it went pretty well, learned some more about running a set.
One of the things I'm trying to do for my personal benefit is teach myself, via the N1Z shorts, how films in the real world are shot. For instance, this time, we shot out of order and over two days. Until now, we've been shooting in-sequence, which means that we shoot scene 1, then scene 2, then scene 3, etc. That's almost never how it works on real shoots. There are some notable exceptions, of course, like Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead. And even that one was his debut film.
All in all, I think we're getting better and better at this film thing. I know that I am. I'm gaining a lot of confidence.
Also, it's super bloody fun. This is what I want to do with the rest of my life, after all. So, yeah. Lots Caste is in post-production, and we're hard at work with pre-production of our next project.
